6th generation: Charlotte Ann Steele (my ggg maternal grandma; Esker Farrell Mayberry's maternal grandma)

Charlotte Ann Steele was born Dec. 12, 1844 in Mississippi.  Her first husband was a Mr. Pearcy whom she married in Garland, Arkansas in 1860 and had 2 sons.  From what I could tell it looks like he must have died in during the War Between the States.  

She married her second husband (my line) William Washington Young in Hot Springs, Garland/Montgomery, Arkansas 20 Dec 1865 and they had 11 children together. 

She died December 22, 1903 in Mount Vernon, Franklin, Texas.

There are some confusing aspects of this line.  Sometimes her name appears as Charlotta, or Charlott or even Cholata.  Ann is sometimes An, Steele is sometimes Steel.  Pearcy is sometimes Percy. 

In the 1880 US Census her son S.L. Pearcy, age 16, is listed as living with them.
